4/29 SMARTBoard Training

Thank you for all your energy at today's training session. Here are a few things I promised:

1.Link to apply for STAR Discovery Educator
2. The link to the UES Teachers ikeepbookmarks. You might get some ideas (this is for lower grades)- but you might want to start (Ken?) creating your own. Free and easy- if you need help, please let me know!
3. I forgot to talk about the graph paper. You can select graph paper for your background in Notebook. Just to the the gallery, type in graph in the key word search (at the bottom), and then look for Pictures and Backgrounds. There are several different types.
4. Great science site is learningscience.org
5. In case you want to play with talking pictures-(just remember the site doesn't work at school (yet!))- the site is Blabberize

Special thanks to MaryBeth for offering her room and to Chris for the beverages. I will have 2 copies made of the Notebook 10.0 binder by next week. I will follow up for the Professional Development hours. (I will mail them in bulk.)

Here are some links on Teachertube that will help you learn SMARTBoard techniques. These are part of a 60 second tech series. There are manhy- I just selected a few.

Moving Powerpoint presentations in Notebook software.

You can also access the SMARTBoard site to access many brief tutorials.

I have also googled SMARTBoard and found lesson plans.
